Fairfax, Va. (September 20, 2014) – The Mount men's tennis team began the George Mason Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

The Mount, which is competing for the second time this fall, took on opponents from UMBC and Mary Washington. Sophomore Darren Mast played the day's most competitive match in a three-set loss to Mary Washington's Brandon Griffin in singles action.

The George Mason Invitational concludes tomorrow with the Mount playing Mary Washington in doubles action and George Mason for doubles and singles.
