Towson, Md. (September 14, 2014) – The Mount St. Mary's women's tennis team wrapped up play at the Tiger Classic on Sunday afternoon with tough competition versus Loyola and Saint Joseph's.
In her singles match against SJU's Sarah Contrata, Mount freshman Sruthi Kamprath forced tiebreakers in both sets, falling by scores of 7-6 (7-4) and 7-6 (8-6).
On the day, Loyola won four singles and one doubles match, and Saint Joseph's took two singles and two doubles matches from the Mount in competition that did not count toward the team's overall record.
Next on the schedule, the Mount heads to Lewisburg, Pa. for the Bucknell Invitational slated for Sept. 19-21.
