West Windsor, N.J. (April 20, 2013)-- The Mount St. Mary's men's tennis team was defeated by the Bryant Bulldogs, 4-0 in the NEC Conference Semifinals. The men conclude their season at 15-7, and 5-2 in NEC play, with both losses coming to Bryant. 

The Mount got out to a quick start in doubles, only to see Bryant come back and win at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. Matthew Blake and Taylor Place lost to Dana Parziale and Zachary Morris, 8-5. Mike Salomon and Adam Salam were defeated at No. 2 by Vidith Hout and Ernesto Arguello, 8-6. Number three doubles went unfinished. 

Bryant took Nos. 1, 2, and 4 singles to complete the sweep. Matthew Blake was knocked off by Morris in three sets; 3-6, 6-0, 6-3. His younger brother Austin's stellar rookie campaign came to an end with a 6-2, 6-2 loss to Arguello at No. 4. Bryant's Max Vogt defeated Adam Salam at No. 2; 6-4, 6-3 to earn the victory for  the Bulldogs. Number three, five and six singles went unfinished.
