Bethlehem, Pa. (October 5, 2013)—Kristen Galligan finished in ninth place in the Brown Race to pace the Mount St. Mary's men's and women's cross country teams at the Paul Short Run on Saturday afternoon.

Galligan, a junior, finished in ninth place in the field of 365 runners, traversing the six-kilometer course in a time of 22:01.  Graduate student Stephanie Borland finished 36^th overall in the race with a time of 22:45.  Maria Borland, Madeline Rico and Constance Kniesler rounded out the Mount's top five as the Mount finished in 32^nd place.

Jesse Langton finished 110^th overall to pace the Mountaineer men's squad, which placed 43^rd overall.  Langton had a time of 27:09 for the eight-kilometer course.  Chris Jewell, Shane Holcomb, Jesse Albright and Kieran Tonero rounded out the top five for the Mount.

The Mount returns to action on October 19 at the Tribe Open.
