Fairfax, Va. (September 29, 2012)-- Seniors Carly Landini and Renee Deane posted wins on Saturday at the George Mason Invitational on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Danielle Nguyen was also victorious against Georgetown.
The Mount took on Georgetown and George Mason in the event. The Mount face Georgetown which saw a couple of victories for the Mount. Senior Renee Deane won 6-3, 6-4 over Montgomery. Danielle Nguyen picked up another win on the season with a hard fought three set match win. Nguyen defeated Pratt 4-6, 6-4, 10-8.
Senior Carly Landini picked up the only win against George Mason. Landini dispatched Erdenbat in two sets 6-3, 6-3.
The Mount returns to action this Thursday, October 4 against Towson. The match begins at 3:00 PM in Emmitsburg.
