West Windsor, N.J. (April 21, 2012)--The Mount St. Mary's women's tennis team closed out the 2011-12 season with a 5-0 win over Monmouth in a consolation match at the Northeast Conference championships at the Mercer County Tennis Center.

The Mount cruised to wins in all three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead.  Samantha Pinchoff and Kelly Conroy won 8-2 at No. 1 doubles while Renee Deane and Carly Landini were 8-0 winners at No. 2.  Jennifer Smith and Liz Rossi won at No. 3 doubles as well.

In singles, Pinchoff was a 6-0, 6-1 winner at No. 1 singles with Conroy winning 6-1, 6-3 at the No. 2 position.  Landini was a 6-2, 6-1 victor at No. 4 singles while Rossi was an easy 6-0, 6-0 winner at the No. 5 singles spot.

The Mount completes the season with an 11-8 record.
