Mount Update: The men's tennis returns to action, a couple weeks removed from their spring break trip in Florida. The men's last match was a 7-0 victory over Davenport on March 2. The men will play three matches in a two day span, with two matches on St. Patrick's Day.
About the Purple Eagles: Niagara is coming off a 6-1 loss against Creighton on March 8, as part of their spring break trip in Orlando, Fla. Olivier Coursol provided the Purple Eagles with their lone point at the No. 4 singles spot, with a 6-4, 6-3 decision.
Last Time We Met: The last meeting was in 2010, with Niagara defeating the Mount 5-2 in Emmitsburg. The Mount started off the match losing the doubles point, to face an early 1-0 deficit. Matthew Blake won at the No. 6 singles spot to earn a point with a 6-4, 6-4 win. Taylor Place provided the only other point for the Mount, with his win at the No. 5 spot in a thrilling three set win, 6-4, 6-7 (4-7), 10-7.
The All-Time Series: Niagara holds a 2-0 all-time record over the Mount. The first win was a 7-0 win at a neutral site back in 2004.
