Mount Update: The Women's team will open up the spring portion of the schedule with Lehigh. The Mountain Hawks come into the contest 0-3 overall and are coming off a loss against St. Francis Pa. on Sunday, 4-3.
About Lehigh: Lehigh comes into the match 0-3 overall after losing St. Francis Pa. on Sunday. The Mountain Hawks split the singles matches with the Red Flash, but dropped the doubles point to open the match to lose the match.
Last Year: The Mount earned a 4-3 victory over Lehigh in Bethlehem. The Mount won four of the six singles matches to earn the victory. The Mount lost the doubles point early on to go down 1-0, but rallied back in singles winning at Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 5.
The All-Time Series: Saturday will mark the 11th meeting all-time between the two schools, with the Mount holding a 6-4 edge over the Mountain Hawks. This will be the 6th straight road match for the Mount against Lehigh. The last time the Mountaineers hosted Lehigh was back in 1993. The last two meetings were decided by one point.
Quick Hits on the Fall: The Mount ended the fall on a two game winning streak, defeating Rider on the road, 7-0 and Wagner at home, 6-1. Juniors Kelly Conroy and Renee Deane dominated in singles action going 7-2 and 6-2 respectively. In doubles action, Conroy and sophomore Samantha Pinchoff went 6-0 in doubles matches in the fall.
Up Next: The women's team will take on Concordia (NY) to open up their Florida Spring Break trip on February 26.
