Annapolis, Md.—Mount St. Mary's men's tennis loses to Navy on Sunday afternoon. Junior Mike Salomon provided the Mount with their lone point at the No. 4 singles spot.
In doubles action, Navy won two of the three matches to jump out to the early 1-0 lead. The Mount took one of the three matches. At the No. 2 spot, freshman Adam Salam and junior Mike Salomon defeated Marcus Rebersak and Anderson Walls, 8-7 (7-5).
Salomon would go on to win at No. 4 singles over Navy's Heyward Drayton. Salomon won the thrilling three set match, 4-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-8). His win was the lone point for the Mount on the afternoon.
The men return to action February 26 when they take on Concordia to kick off their spring break trip.
