Lewisburg, Pa.-- (September 18, 2011) The tandem of Carly Landini and Renee Deane teamed up to win the back draw in Flight A doubles. The duo beat the team of Elena Vidrascu and Lydia Colvin from Bucknell, 8-2. The two lost their opening match on Friday to the team from Loyola of Ash/Fedele, 8-3. The team of Kelly Conroy and Samantha Pinchoff lost on Sunday in the in the quarterfinals of Flight A doubles.

In singles action on Sunday, Conroy won the back draw finals against Bucknell's Christy Schneider 6-3, 3-1 ret in Flight A singles. Pinchoff lost her match in the consolation bracket to Mikelle Mancini of Villanova in straight sets, 6-4, 6-0. Freshman Taylor D'Agostino lost the finals of the back draw consolation in Flight B singles to Camila Diaz of St. Francis Pa., 6-4, 7-5. Danielle Nguyen lost the consolation finals in Flight C singles 6-3, 6-3 to Aurora McQuade from Villanova.

On Saturday, Landini beat Judy Lite of Loyola in straight sets 7-6, 6-4. Conroy also won her singles match against Courtney Casey of Bucknell 6-0, 2-6, 10-3, before going on to defeat Amanda Nelson of Villanova in straight sets 6-1, 6-3.

In Friday's action, Samantha Pinchoff won her opening singles match 7-5, 6-3 over Alex Sachs of St. Francis Pa. Lauren Clark won her singles match in Flight B over Liz Black of Loyola 4-6, 6-1, 10-6. Freshman Jennifer Smith won her Flight C singles contest by defeating Kristen Bishof of Bucknell 6-3, 3-6, 11-9.

The women's team returns to action this Tuesday, September 20 when they face Shepherd at home starting at 3:00 p.m.
