Emmitsburg, Md. (October 23, 2011)—The women's tennis team defeated Wagner behind the solid play of Junior Renee Deane. Deane won the deciding singles match at No. 3 singles, 6-3, 7-5. She also paired with Carly Landini to win at No. 2 doubles, 8-0.

In other singles action, Kelly Conroy, Landini, Liz Rossi and Lauren Clark all won in straight sets. Conroy won 6-1, 6-1; while Landini won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4 singles. Rossi and Clark both won at No. 5 and No. 6 respectively. Rossi won 6-0, 6-0; while Clark won 6-1, 6-1.

In doubles action, Conroy and Samantha Pinchoff won 8-1 at the No. 1 spot. Rossi and Jennifer Smith teamed up to win 8-1 at the No. 3 spot.

This match concluded the fall season for the Mount.
