PRINCETON, N.J. - Megan Kinsella (Allentown, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) finished 42nd to lead the Mount St. Mary's women's cross country team to an 11th-place finish at the Princeton Invitational on Saturday. On the men's side, Dylan Bernard (Frederick, Md./Urbana) finished 69th to help the Mount men's cross country team to a 13th-place standing.
Kinsella posted a time of 23:32.50 to finish 42nd in the 6K race while Bernard registered a time of 25:50.00 in the men's 8K race.
Along with Kinsella, Kathryn Franke (Glen Arm, Md./Loch Raven) (61st place, 24:00.90), Stephanie Joson (Gaithersburg, Md./Quince Orchard) (67th place, 24:11.10), Colleen Smith (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle) (68th place, 24:14.70) and Desiree Scott (Prince George, va./Prince George) (122nd place, 25:29.40) rounded out the women's Top-5 performers.
After Bernard on the men's side, Matthew Pacheco (Clarkscille, Md./Atholton) (90th place, 26:20.90), Chris Swisko (Aberdeen, Md./Calvert Hall) (94th place, 26:25.80), Sean Caskey (Dundalk, Md./Calvart Hall) (127th place, 27:39.41) and Shane Holcomb (Peckville, Pa./Holy Cross) (134th place, 28:23.10) rounded out the men's Top-5 performances.
Both the Mount St. Mary's men's and women's cross country teams return to action at the Northeast Conference Championships on Oct. 30.
