Orlando, Fla. (March 6, 2009)--The Mount St. Mary's men's and women's tennis teams closed out their Florida trip with losses to Grand Valley State on Friday afternoon. The women's team lost 7-2 while the men were defeated 9-0.

In the women's match, junior Chelsea Johnson was a 6-2, 6-1 winner over Katelyn Schaffer at the No. 2 singles position while Emma Haley earned a 6-3, 7-6 win against Jackie Shipman at the No. 5 singles spot.

In men's play, Favio Osorio played Grand Valley State's Tony Dang tough at No. 1 singles, but lost by a 6-3, 7-6 score.
