The Mount St. Mary's men's tennis team lost to Robert Morris,
4-0, in the quarterfinals of the Northeast Conference Championships
held at the Mercer County Tennis Center in West Windsor, N.J. The
Mount (7-13) will play Sacred Heart in a consolation match
today.
Robert Morris captured the doubles point to take a 1-0 lead in
the match. The Mount's No. 2 tandem of Jeff Lamberton and Rob
Dupaya were leading 7-1 when their match was halted because the
Colonials had won at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles.
In singles action, the Colonials won in straight sets at No. 4,
No. 5 and No. 6 singles to secure the match.
