EMMITSBURG, MD (September 25, 2026) – Mount St. Mary's women's soccer puts their two-match win streak to the test, welcoming the Fairfield Stags to Emmitsburg.  
 
MOUNT UPDATE
 
Caoume Valle scored in the 88^th minute as the Mount won in comeback fashion against Rider, 2-1, this past Wednesday. Erin Antone scored the opening goal for the team, and keeper Abby Makela earned six saves.
 
Antone leads the Mount in points with six, thanks to two goals and two assists. Cassidy Nichols and Valle each have five points.
 
SCOUTING THE STAGS
 
Fairfield is the leading offense in the Metro, scoring 21 goals in their first ten matches. Ella Pisani has the most goals with six, followed by Payton Zaun with four. Zuan ties teammate Bella Bingham with three assists for the team lead. Alyssa Gluting has 30 saves as the leading goalkeeper.
 
SERIES HISTORY
 
The Stags have won all five meetings over the Mountaineers, including a 4-0 decision last year.
