Camryn Jones-Howard Wins Triple Jump at Dani Palooza Last Chance

EMMITSBURG, Md. (May 18, 2026) – Sophomore Camryn Jones-Howard won the triple jump at High Point's Dani Palooza Last Chance meet this past Sunday. She, along with Tyler Cash, Ethan Demeter, and Dante Elliot competed.
 
Jones-Howard took the individual title with a 12.51 meter jump, coming within .04 meters of her school record mark of 12.55 meters, set at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championships.
 
Cash and Demeter both reached heights of 4.91 meters at the event, with Demeter winning the tiebreaker for taking one attempt to clear 4.76 meters, as opposed to Cash's two. Elliot passed to 1.96 meters but was unable to clear the bar.
 
Qualified Mount St. Mary's track & field athletes continue their seasons later this month at the NCAA East Championships First Round in Lexington, Kentucky.
