MEET INFORMATION

EMMITSBURG, Md. (April 8, 2026) – Mount St. Mary's dance is set to compete in the 2026 College Classic National Championship in Florida. The Mountaineers are participating in this event for the first time.
 
Among the events the squad will compete in are hip-hop, pom, jazz and team performance. Events are split between Arenas A and B at the Convention Center. A link to the schedules can be viewed here. Tickets for the event are available for purchase as well as all-access live stream passes.
 
Mount St. Mary's earned their bid to nationals after a standout performance at the Dance Team Union Eastern Regional in Newark, New Jersey back in January. The team earned first in pom and team performance, and second for hip hop and jazz.
 
The Mount elevated its dance program to the varsity level in 2023 and brought on Tara Bowman as its head coach. In addition to competitions, the team performs at men's and women's home basketball games throughout the season.
