Emmitsburg, MD (December 11, 2024) – The Mount St. Mary's University dance team travels to Stafford, Virginia to compete in the Dance Team Union Regional Competition on December 15.
The team will be competing in five routines: a solo, a duo routine, a group pom routine, hip-hop, and open style.
Solo: The solo will be performed by captain and current junior,
Bria Wagaman. Wagaman will be performing a contemporary piece for the team.
Duo: This will be a sassy jazz routine, performed by both captains,
Bria Wagaman and
Kaitlyn Baumgardner who is a current sophomore.
Group Routines: These routines will be performed by the two captains, along with graduate student
Amaya Bowman, senior
Alexis Mobley. Joining them will be freshmen
Cecelia Buchanan,
Savannah Brake,
Emma Larimore, and
Jalia Watson. Bowman is a dual athlete and is a member of the D1 softball team. Mobley recently performed in a musical on campus.
