EMMITSBURG, Md. (February 7, 2026) – Mount St. Mary's indoor track & field gathered plenty of high honors at two meets on Friday and Saturday. Members of the team competed at the Fastrack National Invite in Staten Island, N.Y. while others participated in the first day of the IC4A/ECAC Championships in Boston.
For the second straight week,
Ethan Demeter led the charge at IC4A/ECAC's by winning the pole vault at a distance of 4.90 meters, earning the most points for the Mount. Right next to him was
Dante Elliot and his runner-up mark of 2.04 meters in the high jump. In the running events,
Garrett Wilkerson had the highest finish with a 47.88 second effort in the 400m.
Rounding out point scoring at the IC4A/ECAC Championships were
Madelyn Valpy with a sixth place finish of 5.58 meters in the long jump,
Donovan Harrington and his seventh place finish in the men's long jump at 6.96 meters, and
Jacey Hentz and her seventh place finish of 3.56 meters in the pole vault.
Anavaleria Martinez was the highest finisher at the Fastrack National Invite, registering a third place time of 9.60 seconds in the 60 hurdles.
Maeve Parrish earned a top five effort as well with a 2:14.61 run in the 800m, as did
Hobi Forti with a 6.31 meter long jump. Fellow top 10 finishers were
