EMMITSBURG, Md. (January 27, 2026) – The winter storm that wreaked havoc on the Mid-Atlantic region forces Mount St. Mary's men's lacrosse to adjust its home opener. Instead of hosting Queens on Saturday (Jan. 31), the Mount travels to Charlotte to take on the Royals for a Sunday (Feb. 1) contest at 1 p.m.
 
Sunday's game will be a rematch of the 2025 opener, won by the Mount in a 14-9 victory.
 
Mount St. Mary's now opens its home season on February 24^th with a 4 p.m. game against UMBC.
