Mount St. Mary's Cross Country Heads Down to the James Madison Invitational on Friday

EMMITSBURG, Md. (September 25, 2025) –Mount St. Mary's cross country heads to Harrisonburg, Va. to compete in the James Madison Invitational where women are set to start at 5:00 pm and men will start at 5:45. The women will run a 5k race while the men will run an 8k.
 
MOUNT UPDATE: This is the third meet for the Mount this season. The Mount last competed at the Cantello Invite hosted by Navy a little under two weeks ago. On the women's side, Laura McConville led the Mountaineers with a seventh-place finish with a time of 23:22.9. The Mount men were led by Nicholas Willis in the 5K with a finish of 13th place with a time of 17:36.1 and in the 4.9 mile Duke Ebert led the way with a time of 27:50.6 to finish 38th.
 
COMPETING TEAMS:   Eastern Mennonite, James Madison, Mary Washington, Mount St. Mary's, Randolph, Sweet Briar, VMI
 
UP NEXT:  Mount St. Mary's takes a three-week hiatus from action before traveling to local Gettysburg, Pa. for the Aubrey Shenk Invitational on October 18th.
