Six Mount Bowlers Named NTCA All-Academic Scholar Athlete

EMMITSBURG, Md. (June 12, 2025) – Six members of the Mount St. Mary's bowling team received All-Academic Scholar Athlete honors from the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA).
 
Student-athletes honored include juniors Trishelle Leal Uribe and Kayleigh McMullen; sophomores Alyssa Balest and Piper Chalmers; and freshmen Amber Benson and Mikalah Carter.
 
The NTCA All-Academic Team honors collegiate bowlers who have excelled in the classroom while competing at the highest levels of the sport. To be eligible, student-athletes must have maintained a minimum GPA of 3.4 during the academic year. The National Tenpin Coaches Association is privileged to showcase the exceptional academic accomplishments of our student-athletes.  
 
Mount St. Mary's went 66-43 on the lanes in 2024-25, capping off the season with a trip to the United States Bowling Congress Intercollegiate Team Championships.
