EMMITSBURG, Md. (June 26, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's bowling rising senior
Trishelle Leal Uribe excelled again for her home country of Mexico during the 2025 Olimpiada Nacional, hosted by CONADE – Mexico's National Commission for Physical Culture and Sport.
Like last year, Leal Uribe finished the competition winning four medals. She took gold in both the singles and all-event, with silver in teams and bronze in doubles. This is her final season competing in the event since she has reached the age gap, exiting as a two-time champion in the singles and all-event.
Leal Uribe enters her fourth season with the Mountaineers when the 2025-26 season resumes in August. In her junior year, she completed 1,075 frames between Baker, traditional and USBC formats. She set the school record for spare conversions in Baker play at 76.3 percent, and her fill percentages of 85.9 percent for Baker games and 84.5 percent for traditional games are also top 10 on the Mount's record book.
Mount St. Mary's went 66-43, once again finished ranked in the National Tenpin Coaches Association poll and qualified for their third USBC Intercollegiate Team Championship appearance.
