EMMITSBURG, Md. (May 6, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's track & field athletes Donovan Harrington and Anne Marie Oriakhi received weekly honors from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) on Tuesday. Both had impressive efforts at Princeton's Larry Ellis Invitational this past weekend.

Harrington leads the MAAC in the long jump after securing his best distance of the outdoor season. His 7.17 meters now ranks second in his freshman campaign behind a 7.25 meter showing during indoor season. The top 10 effort was achieved in his third jump at Princeton.

Oriakhi also had a top 10 finish at Princeton with a discus throw of 41.57 meter effort. The mark is second among MAAC competitors behind teammate Keighan DeCoff. The toss comes within a few-tenths of a meter of a personal best, set at last season's Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational.

Mount St. Mary's is heading to the MAAC Championships this weekend, hosted by Rider.
