MOUNT UPDATE:  Mount St. Mary's closed out its Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference schedule by splitting a doubleheader at Saint Peter's on Tuesday.  The Mount jumped out to a 5-0 lead en route to a 7-4 victory in the nightcap after the Peacocks took the opener, 6-1.  Brianna Manni leads the Mount with a .299 average this season with Tristin Koerner hitting .275 with a team-high 11 doubles and 17 RBI.  Ellie Meier leads the pitching staff with a 3.58 ERA in 86.0 innings while Olivia Murphy (4.74 ERA, 82.2 IP), Sophia Schmehl (5.07 ERA, 99. 1 IP), Amaya Bowman (7.12 ERA, 40.1 IP) and Kaya Hannon (4.2 IP) round out the staff.

LEHIGH UPDATE:  Lehigh edged Villanova, 9-8, on Wednesday to improve to 26-22 on the season.  The Mountain Hawks finished the Patriot League regular season with a 13-5 mark, good for third place in the standings.  Kelly Fricker leads Lehigh with a .428 average with 38 runs scored while adding 16 doubles.  Maddy Schmeiser (.377), Julia Mrochko (.345, 17 2B, 30 RBI) and Rory Dudley (.315, 5 HR, 38 RBI) are also key cogs in the offense.  In the circle, Chloe Hess (10-8, 3.55 ERA) and Madison Finnerty (13-7, 4.69 ERA) are the top two pitchers.

THE ALL-TIME SERIES:  Mount St. Mary's holds a 3-2 lead in the all-time series with Lehigh.  This will be the first meeting between the two teams since the Mount won a pair of neutral site games at NC State in 2022 (5-1 and 1-0 Mount victories).  This is the first time the two teams have met in Emmitsburg.
