Box Score North Andover, Mass. (April 27, 2025)--Mount St. Mary's lost the series finale, 6-0, at Merrimack on Sunday afternoon. 

The Mount had a chance to take the early lead with singled by Gina Del Giorno and Tristin Koerner in the top of the first inning, but Merrimack was able to escape the jam with a pair of strikeouts.  The Warriors (12-28, 9-11 MAAC) used that momentum to score a pair of runs in the bottom of the first to take a 2-0 advantage.  Merrimack added to the lead with a run in fourth and three more in the sixth to earn the 6-0 victory.

Mount starting pitcher Sophia Schmehl allowed six runs (four earned) while striking out a pair in the complete game loss.  Del Giorno, Koerner and Brianna Manni each had a hit for the Mount (9-37, 4-20 MAAC) in the game.

Mount St. Mary's closes out its MAAC schedule on Tuesday with a doubleheader at Saint Peter's. The Mount will then host Lehigh for Senior Day on Saturday, May 3, at noon, for a doubleheader to round out the season
