Lawrenceville, N.J. (May 2, 2026)—Mount St. Mary's pounded out a season-high 18 hits in an 11-1 win at Rider to complete a three-game sweep. The Mount finishes the regular season with a 20-28 record overall and a 15-12 mark in the MAAC.

Avery Dinges each had three hits for the Mount while
Emma Tawney,
Sharon Manni and
Tristin Koerner chipped in two hits each.
Dinges finished the game going 3-for-5 with two doubles, four RBI and four stolen bases. The junior second baseman, who broke the Mount's single season record for steals yesterday, is the national leader with 46 stolen bases this season. Dinges also tied the Mount's single-season record with her two doubles today. She now has 17 two-base hits, matching the school mark held by Amanda Burk (2006) and Lindsay Heinze (2017).
Lofland went 3-for-5 with three stolen bases and two RBI while Del Giorno was 3-for-5 with a pair of runs scored.
Ellie Meier improved to 8-6 on the year with a complete-game effort, allowing four hits and one run while striking out three in the game.
The Mount took a 1-0 lead on a Lofland RBI single in the third to drive in Dinges, who reached on an error and stole second and third base to get into scoring position.
The Mountaineers broke the game open with a four-run fourth inning. Dinges provided the big hit, a two-out bases loaded double that cleared the bases for a 5-0 advantage.

- Dinges finished the regular season with a .390 average, the third-best single-season mark in program history, and the best since Rachel Heinze hit .407 in 2017.
- The Mount finished the MAAC regular season with a 15-12 record, the most conference wins for the Mount since going 15-5 in the team's first season in the MAAC in 2023.
- Ellie Meier finished the regular season 8-6 with a team-best 2.73 ERA.
- Dinges finished the season with a team-high 55 hits while Gina Del Giorno was second on the team with 53 hits.
- Sharon Manni hit a team-best .373 in MAAC games this year.
