MOUNT UPDATE:  Mount St. Mary's was swept by Merrimack in a three-game MAAC series over the weekend.  The Mountaineers dropped a pair of heartbreakers in the opening doubleheader, falling in walk-off fashion in both games (3-2 in 9 innings; 7-6).  The Warriors took the final game of the set, 6-0.  Brianna Manni leads the Mount with a .303 average while adding 10 doubles this year with Tristin Koerner hitting .282 with team highs in doubles (11) and RBI (16).  Ellie Meier is 4-8 with a team-best 3.65 ERA in 84.1 innings while Olivia Murphy (1-11, 4.50 ERA, 79.1 IP), Sophia Schmehl (4-12, 5.36 ERA, 92.2 IP) and Amaya Bowman (0-3, 6.64 ERA, 39.0 IP) have seen action in the circle as well.

SAINT PETER'S UPDATE:  Saint Peter's traveled to Fairfield over the weekend and took two of three games in the three-game set.  The Peacocks split the opening doubleheader, falling 5-0 before taking game two, 5-4.  On Sunday, Saint Peter's earned a 3-0 win over the Stags.  Saint Peter's has won three of its past four games to move to 12-31 overall and 3-18 in the MAAC.  Olivia Christopher leads the team with a .369 average while Tai Turner (.359, 3 HR, 29 RBI) and Jess Forte (.301, 14 2B, 7 HR, 41 RBI) are also having strong seasons at the plate.  In the circle, Brielle Coppola (2-9, 4.85 ERA, 72.1 IP), Morgan Lipansky (2-5, 5.36 ERA, 50. 1 IP) and Ava White (5-11, 6.14 ERA, 104.0 IP) have handle the majority of the innings pitched.

THE ALL-TIME SERIES:  Mount St. Mary's is 2-3 all-time against Saint Peter's with all five meetings coming in MAAC regular season matchups.  Last year, the Peacocks took two of three from the Mount at Our Lady of the Meadows Field.  This will be the first matchup between the teams in Jersey City.
