"I am thrilled to name Leandros the head men's and women's tennis coach," said Director of Athletics
Brad Davis. "Since taking the reins of our programs in September, his leadership, passion, and commitment to our student-athletes have stood out. I look forward to seeing our tennis programs develop and grow in the future under Leandros' leadership."
Misdrachis received the Interim Head Coach job in September. In his first season at the helm, the men's and women's teams combine for 14 victories and five wins in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC).

He joined the Mount St. Mary's program in 2023 under then-Head Coach Silvia Chinellato. It was his first career coaching position following a career as a player at Tennessee State University. While at Tennessee State, he was named the team's most valuable player while playing at multiple spots in the lineup. He was also a nationally ranked player in Greece, he has coached at the Tennis Icon Academy in Larisa, Greece since 2018.
The tennis teams close out conference play against Quinnipiac, Fairfield, and Marist over the next week. MAAC Championship play begins April 25 in West Windsor, New Jersey.
