Emmitsburg, Md (March 14, 2025) – The Mount St. Mary's men's lacrosse team heads to Riverdale, NY to take on the Manhattan Jaspers in their second Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) contest. The game will begin at 12 p.m. and will be broadcast on the Jaspers Sports Network.

Mount Update
The Quinnipiac Bobcats took down the Mountaineers last time out, 21-10. Aidan Kilduff, Kevin Whitty, and Jack Smith led the point scoring for the Mount with three points each. Kilduff scored two goals, the first in his collegiate career. The freshman midfielder also added one assist and one groundball. Whitty also tallied two goals on two shots and picked up one groundball. Team assists leader Jack Smith provided three assists in the contest and one groundball. Will McKay scored a season high two goals on three shots-on-goal and scooped one groundball in the effort. Bennett Wright saved 13 shots of the 34 on goal.

Scouting the Jaspers
In their last contest, the Jaspers won on the road against Merrimack by a score of 12-11. Connor Engel scored three goals in the contest, including the go-ahead goal to secure the win. Engel also tallied two assists and three groundballs. Drew Hiner, Tyler Mosca, and Liam Peabody each added two goals of their own towards the win. Graduate student goalkeeper Connor Hapward saved nine shots, allowing 11 goals in his third win of the season.

Up Next for the Mount
After the road contest, the Mountaineers will return home to Waldron Family Stadium to clash with Marist. That game will be on March 22 at 12 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN+.
