EMMITSBURG, Md. (March 12, 2025) – Ten members of the Mount St. Mary's Swimming and Diving team are set to travel to Ocala, Florida and compete at the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America's National Invitational Championships from March 13 to March 15. The members of the team traveling to Florida are

Parker Koenig, and
Joshua Nelson.
MOUNT UPDATE
Swimming and diving ended their Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference meet with a 334-point fifth place finish for the women and a 285.5 sixth place finish for the men. The women's 400-Yard Freestyle Relay Team of
Meghan Speicher,
Theodora Kanellopoulou,
Carmen Del Aguila, and
Christina Lazari broke the MAAC record for the event with a finals time of 3:24.66.
On the women's side of the competition besides the relay team's record, Lazari finished in fifth place in the 100-Yard Freestyle with a time of 51.41. And
Emily Myers finished the 200-Yard Breaststroke event with a time of 2:23.61.
On the men's side of the competition,
Austin Toland finished in fifth with a time of 44.69 in the 100-Yard Freestyle.
Liam Rooney placed ninth in the 200-Yard Butterfly with a time of 1:51.60. And
Jason Fitch finished first in the B Final of the 200-Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:4789.
