GENEVA, Ohio (February 14, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's swimming and diving ended their third day at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championships with a defiant points grab, with the women adding points onto their tally of 240 and the men adding points to their 216.5 accumulation. Senior, Aidan Grady claimed a MAAC Record time of 53.18 in the men's 100-Yard Breaststroke, breaking the 53.40 time set by Bryant's FuKang Wong in 2020.  
 
On the men's side of the competition, the flowers went to Grady on the day of his record-breaking swim, but there was more to the Mountaineers day than just the Breaststroke finals. Parker Koenig set a time of 47.78 in the 100-Yard Butterfly, placing second behind Fairfield's Chris Dauser. Jason Fitch placed second in the 100-Yard Backstroke, setting a time of 47.81 in the race. And the relay team of Grady, Koenig, Fitch, and Austin Toland once again placed second in the 400-Yard Medley Relay with a time of 3:13.29.
 
In the women's competition, Christina Lazari placed sixth in the 100-Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:03.67. Hanna Aggen placed fourth in the 100-Yard Backstroke with a time of 56.51. And the 400-Yard medley Relay team of Lazari, Aggen, Carmen Del Aguila, and Madison Murphy placed fourth with a collective time of 3:48.24.
