WASHINGTON, D.C. (November 16, 2024) – Mount St. Mary's swim and dive were swept today in their third dual-meet matchup of the year away at Howard, with the men losing 169-92 and the women losing out 165-97.
 
Both 400-Yard Medley Relay teams placed second in their respective events with 
Hanna Aggen, 
Christina Lazari, 
Theodora Kanellopoulou, and 
Madison Murphy finishing with a time of 4:00.15 in the women's event and the team of 
Jason Fitch, 
Aidan Grady, 
Parker Koenig, and 
Austin Toland finishing with a time of 3:25.90 in the men's event. 
Carmen Del Aguila won the women's 1000-Yard Freestyle with a time of 10:34.33, all within intervals of 33 seconds. She also won the women's 500-Yard Freestyle with a time of 5:06.42.
 
Both Grady and Lazari won their signature events at the dual-meet as the pair won the men's 50-Yard Breaststroke with a time of 25.65 and the women's 50-Yard Breaststroke with a time of 29.69 respectively.  Grady also won the men's 100-Yard Breaststroke with a time of 56.38 and

The Mount returns to the pool on the weekend of November 22-24 as they travel to Lancaster, Pennsylvania for their mid-season meet at the Franklin and Marshall Invitational.
