Raflo, LeMaster, Kennerly Collect MAAC Honors

EMMITSBURG, Md. (March 10, 2025)—A trio of Mount St. Mary's women's basketball players earned All-Conference and All-Rookie honors from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), announced by the league on Monday. Jo Raflo received a First Team All-MAAC nod, Anna LeMaster grabs a Third Team All-MAAC selection, and Gabrielle Kennerly is an All-Rookie honoree.

Raflo is top 10 among MAAC competitors for both points per game (14.9) and rebounds per game (6.1), ranking seventh for scoring and eighth for collecting boards. During the regular season finale, she became the 31st Mountaineer to collect 1,000 points and the sixth to do it in three seasons. The Gainesville, Virginia product is also in the Mount record books for career three-pointers thanks to her 50 treys this year, and for career blocks due in part to 18 rejections. She had seven games of 20 points or more, and four with 10 or more rebounds, including two double-doubles.

LeMaster excelled from beyond-the-arc this season, leading the MAAC in three pointers per game (2.6) and three-point percentage (.404). Her 76 triples are the third-most for any Mount St. Mary's player in a single season. Playing her one season in Emmitsburg after transferring from American, LeMaster averages 12.7 points and 4.3 rebounds per contest. In addition to her efficiency from three-point range, she averaged 87.1 percent from the charity stripe, third best in the MAAC. Her season high in points was 25 in a win over Mercyhurst, and she was 6-for-7 from long distance in a January win over Siena.

Kennerly stood second behind MAAC Player/Rookie of the Year Gal Rviv of Quinnipiac for points and points per game among rookies. The redshirt freshman has 316 points this year – an average of 10.9 a game - including a pair of 20-point efforts to open the season. Kennerly added 88 rebounds, 55 steals, and 48 assists. Included in the steal total was a nine steal game at Siena March 2, most for any Mountaineer since 2012.

Raflo's selection as a First Teamer is the program's first as a MAAC school, and the first since Kendall Bresee was named First Team in the Northeast Conference in 2022. The three honored Mountaineers are the most since the 2021 squad, when Bresee, Michaela Harrison, Aryna Taylor, and Jessica Tomasetti received awards.

Alongside the all-conference accolades, the MAAC released its All-Academic Team. Kennerly and Raflo made the team, with Tessa Engelman, Jaedyn Jamison, and Rosa Revueltas Pareja.

Mount women's basketball is the #4 seed at the upcoming MAAC Championship in Atlantic City. Their first test is in the quarterfinal against #5 Marist on Thursday (Mar. 13) at noon.
