EMMITSBURG, Md. (February 25, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's travels to Pittsburgh to face Robert Morris for a midweek women's lacrosse contest.
 
MOUNT UPDATE
  • A second half comeback came up two goals short of completion as the Mountaineers fell to Delaware by a 12-9 final. The squad battled from a 10-4 deficit to 11-9 before some late defense and a goal by the Blue Hens sealed the contest.
  • Seven different members of the team scored in the game, with Anna McQuay and Mackenzi Furlong scoring twice.
  • Last Saturday's game featured 23 caused turnovers, with 10 going to the Mount. Molly Molchanoff initiated three of the turnovers.
  • Anna Salerno continues to lead offensive production with eight goals and two assists for a total of 10 points. McQuay has seven goals and Furlong has six points, five of them goals. Brooke Molchanoff has the most assists with three.
  • Camille Thomas is second in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference for goals against average and third in save percentage.
SCOUTING THE COLONIALS
  • After starting the year with a win over Duquesne, Robert Morris has dropped three straight decisions to Cincinnati, Lafayette, and George Washington.
  • Vivian LaManage is the primary assister of the team with 10 dishes, helping the freshman lead in points with 13. Jenna Irwin is the primary scorer with 10 goals, good for second in points with 12.
  • Sydney Riker has started all four games in goal, accruing 17 saves. Katrina Bottomley registers 11 saves in a substitute role.
 
ALL-TIME SERIES

Harkening back to the Northeast Conference days, Mount St. Mary's and Robert Morris have 17 previous meetings with a 10-7 tally in the Mount's favor. Last year, the teams met in out of conference play for the first time, with the Mountaineers winning 15-6.
 
UPCOMING SCHEDULE

This coming Saturday (March 1), the Mount returns home to Waldron Family Stadium to face Bucknell. First draw is at 4 p.m.
