Men’s Track & Field Predicted Third; Women’s Track & Field Fourth in MAAC Indoor Poll

EMMITSBURG, Md. (December 1, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's indoor track & field received high projections from fellow coaches in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). In the preseason poll released by the conference on Monday, the Mount men's team was predicted to finish third and the women's team fourth at season's end.  
 
The women's team received the higher number of points in the 11-team poll, registering 81. The men's team finished with 71 points. Defending champions Rider were named to repeat for the fourth year in a row. Iona is ahead of the Mount men while Quinnipiac and Sacred Heart are listed ahead of the Mount women.
 
Meets begin December 6, with athletes traveling to the Bucknell Bison Opener or the Navy Indoor Invitational.
