Blacksburg, Va. – Mount St. Mary's women's tennis wrapped up its fall campaign at the ITA Atlantic Regional hosted by Virginia Tech, facing a strong field of competitors from across the region.

In singles qualifying, Emma Perkins advanced with a 6-4, 6-3 victory over George Mason's Maitree Rout before falling to Maryland's Magdalena Baniak in the next round. Anna Barlini and Bella Pescatore also competed in qualifying, while Venus Tang represented the Mount in the singles main draw.

The doubles pairing of Venus Tang and Bella Pescatore delivered the Mount's top performance of the weekend, advancing to the Round of 16 with two impressive victories. The duo defeated Norfolk State's Irinia Iurea and Kayla Kennedy, 8-5, and followed with an 8-2 win over Richmond's Lucy Webber and Elizabeth Novak before falling to the third-seeded Maryland team of Emma Ghirardato and Ema Kovacevic, 8-5.

This event concludes the fall season for the Mount, which will return to competition during the spring dual match schedule.
