Fairfax, Va. – Mount St. Mary's women's tennis continued its fall schedule with a strong showing at the George Mason Fall Invite, competing against programs from Delaware State, Howard, and Coppin State.

The Mount earned several victories in doubles play, highlighted by Bella Pescatore and Venus Tang collecting two wins, including a tight 7-6 (7-5) victory over Delaware State's Catherine Goldman and Sia Mahajan and a 6-0 shutout against Coppin State's Moriah Johnson and Sirena Singh. Margherita Trolese and Eirini Tsakiri also secured a 7-5 win over Delaware State's Alba Benedito and Maite Bou Safont, while Trolese and Anya Rosenbach topped Coppin State's Kyla Proctor and Abigail Perue, 6-4.

In singles action, the Mount picked up three victories against Coppin State. Eirini Tsakiri dominated with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Singh, Anna Barlini defeated Proctor 6-4, 6-4, and Kajaal Ramisetty claimed a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Johnson.

The Mount will close out the fall season at the ITA Atlantic Regionals, hosted by Virginia Tech from October 16–21.
