Annie Carey Heads to India for World Para Athletics Championships

EMMITSBURG, Md. (September 30, 2025) – Junior Annie Carey continues her quest for Para Athletics glory as she travels to India for the 2025 World Para Athletics Championships, taking place in New Dehli from September 27 to October 5.
 
A full list of events and information can be found at Paralympic.org. Carey begins competing on October 1.
 
Carey's trip to India comes off the heels of her performance at the United States Para Nationals in Oregon last August. She earned a world record of 5.19 meters in the long jump for the T44 bracket.
 
Last year, Carey also competed in Paris for the 2024 Paralympic Games, earning the Paralympics Record for the long jump and the American record for the 200m.
