MOUNT UPDATE:  The Mount St. Mary's men's and women's tennis teams open the 2024-25 season at home against Chestnut Hill on Friday afternoon.  The Mount men's team finished with an 8-14 record last year with Filippos Zachiotis the top returnee.  Zachiotis led the team in singles wins and was tied for second on the team in doubles wins.  The women's team went 3-11 last year with Margherita Trolese as the top returning player.  Trolese was second on the team in singles wins and tied for the team lead in doubles wins a year ago.

ROSTER BREAKDOWN:  The Mountaineers have 14 student-athletes on the men's roster this season with eight returnees and six newcomers.  The women's team has nine on the roster with five returnees and four newcomers.

ALL-TIME SERIES:  This will be the first-ever meeting between the Mount and Chestnut Hill.

UP NEXT:  The Mount men's team will be sending athletes to both the Joe Hunt Invitational at Navy (Sept. 13-15) and the Bucknell Invitational (Sept. 14-15) while the women's team will also be at Bucknell.
