Mount St. Mary's hosts Saint Peter's this weekend for a three-game Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference series.  Prior to Saturday's doubleheader, the Mount will honor this season's senior class.

MOUNT UPDATE:  Mount St. Mary's dropped two of three games at home to Quinnipiac last weekend and enter the series with Saint Peter's 9-23 overall and 2-9 in the MAAC.  Olivia Murphy tossed a complete game in the Mount's 5-2 win over the Bobcats in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader.  Murphy is now 4-6 with a 4.64 ERA on the year.  Sophia Schmehl continues to pace the pitching staff with a 3-4 record and a 3.54 ERA this year.  Gina Del Giorno has the team's top batting average at .302 while Tori Bowles is hitting .263 while leading the squad with six doubles, four home runs and 20 RBI.

ABOUT SAINT PETER'S:  Saint Peter's dropped both ends of its doubleheader at LeMoyne on Saturday to fall to 13-25 on the year.  The Peacocks are 3-9 in MAAC play this year.  Maiah Skakai is hitting .340 while Cara McNulty is hitting .336 with 11 doubles, seven homers, 23 runs scored and 26 RBI.  Jess Forte leads Saint Peter's with eight homers this year.  Morgan Lipansky (1-10, 4.38 ERA), Kristen Brennan (5-7, 5.31 ERA) and Angelina Wagner (5-6, 6.03 ERA) have pitched the majority of the innings in the circle.

THE ALL-TIME SERIES:  The Mount split last year's doubleheader with Saint Peter's at home, dropping the opening game, 9-3, before capturing a 5-4 win in game two.  Those were the first two all-time meetings between the two teams.

UP NEXT:  The Mount has a busy week in the MAAC next week, heading to Rider for a three-game series on Tuesday and Wednesday (April 23-24) before visiting Iona next weekend (April 27-28) for three games.
