EMMITSBURG, Md. (March 4, 2024) – Home for the third time this season, Mount St. Mary's men's lacrosse welcomes Binghamton to Waldron Family Stadium.
The game marks the last non-conference tune up before Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play.
MOUNT UPDATE
In a double overtime thriller, the Mountaineers fell 13-12 to the Monmouth Hawks.
Will McKay recorded his first career hat trick, scoring four times.
Jackson Phillips caused five turnovers for a new career high and is now tied for the team lead with
Mitchell Dunham. The duo is second in the MAAC for caused turnovers.
Cormac Giblin and
Brody Atkinson registered multiple goals in the contest, and Giblin has now scored twice in all five games.
SCOUTING THE BEARCATS
Binghamton comes to Emmitsburg looking for their second win, with St. Bonaventure being their first. The Bearcats have dropped their last two contests to Lafayette and Richmond. Liam Ferris leads in points and Matthew Keegan leads in goals. Jack Fearnley has the most caused turnovers and Connor Winters has the vast majority of saves with 50.
