MOUNT UPDATE: Mount St. Mary's dropped a pair of matches last week to open the Spring season, falling at Navy, 6-1, and at Drexel, 7-0. Against Navy,
Victor Mignot provided the Mount's point with a three-set win at the No. 5 singles spot in the lineup. In singles play, Mignot produced a 6-1, 2-6, 6-3 win over Aaron Gu at No. 5 singles..Â
Aaron Thompson fell in a hard-fought match at No. 4 singles, falling 6-3, 6-7 (6-8), 1-0 (10-3) while
Akarsh Gaonkar was also edged in a tough match at No. 2 singles by Steve Nguyen, 6-4, 5-7, 1-0 (10-4).
ALL-TIME SERIES VS. PENN STATE: The Mountaineers are 0-3 all-time against Penn State, falling 7-0 in each match. The first meeting was on February 8, 2020, while the teams have played in each of the past two seasons. Last year, the Mount fell at Penn State on February 4.

The Mount St. Mary's women's tennis team begins its spring season at Morgan State on Sunday night.
MOUNT UPDATE: The Mountaineers will be playing their first dual match of the season at Morgan State on Saturday night. Freshman
Margherita Trolese leads the Mount with three singles wins this year. She teamed with
Sofia Kostirko to advance to the Round of 16 at the ITA Atlantic Regionals in October. The duo has a team-high three wins as a doubles pair.
ALL-TIME SERIES: The Mount holds a 7-3 lead in the all-time series with Morgan State that began in 1998. This will be the first meeting between the two teams since a 5-2 Morgan State win on March 30, 2016, in Emmitsburg.
