The Mount St. Mary's men's and women's outdoor track and field teams are set to host the 2023 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Morgan Track on campus this weekend. 

PARTICIPANTS:  Canisius, Iona, Manhattan, Marist, Mount St. Mary's, Niagara, Quinnipiac, Rider, Saint Peters, and Siena.

MOUNT UPDATE:  The Mount was last in action at the Red Flash Invitational on April 29. Ann Marie Oriakhi, John Wang and Dylan LaNoue paced the Mount with first-place finishes at the meet.  Click here for the full recap.

PRESEASON POLL:  The Mount was picked to finish in second place in the men's outdoor track and field preseason poll while the women's team was tabbed to finish third.  Rider was picked unanimously the 2023 title with 64 points.  Mount St. Mary's was picked second with 51 points, while Iona was tabbed third receiving 50 points to round out the top three. Manhattan (41) was voted in fourth place and in fifth place was (27). Siena (26), Saint Peter's (16), and Canisius (13) closed out the men's preseason poll.  On the women's side, Rider received a total of 99 points with eight first place votes to earn the top spot in the poll.  Picked second was Quinnipiac earning 88 points, while Mount St. Mary's earned 74 points to finish in third, Manhattan collected 68 points for a fourth-place selection and Iona rounded out the top-five with 61 points and the final first place vote. Siena (51), Saint Peter's (40), Marist (27), Canisius (23), and Niagara (19) rounded out the poll.

THE RECORD BOOKS:  The Mount had several athletes earn spots in the Mount's All-Time Top 10 lists this outdoor season, highlight by Todd Charles breaking the school mark in the 100m dash and Richard Gilchrist in the 110m hurdles.  The list of athletes entering the Mount's top 10 are:
