THE COMPETITION:  Teams competing at Bucknell include American, Army, Binghamton, Bloomsburg, Bucknell, Lafayette, Lock Haven, the Mount and Saint Francis U.

MOUNT UPDATE:  The Mount St. Mary's men's and women's outdoor track and field teams had athletes at the Larry Ellis Invitational, the Bill Butler Invitational and the James Madison Invitational last week.  Weather was a factor in each meet.  Click HERE for the full release.

MAAC ATHLETES OF THE WEEK:  Mount St. Mary's men's track and field had a pair of athletes win Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Weekly Awards this week. Richard Gilchrist was named the MAAC's Track Performer of the Week while Dante Elliot was named the MAAC Field Performer of the Week  Richard Gilchrist had the top qualifying mark in the 110m hurdles at 14.14 seconds at the Larry Ellis Invitational hosted by Princeton.  The finals were not contested due to the weather.  Gilchrist was also part of the Mount's 4x100m relay team that flirted with a school record with a time of 40.89 seconds that was good for a third-place finish.  That mark is second on the Mount's all-time list, and is the top time in the MAAC this year.  Dante Elliot won the high jump at the Larry Ellis Invitational hosted by Princeton.  Elliot cleared 2.07m (6' 9.5") to move him to the top of the MAAC leaderboard.  Elliot's mark is eighth on the Mount's all-time top 10 list.
