MOUNT UPDATE:Â Mount St. Mary's split a doubleheader at Quinnipiac this past Saturday and enters the weekend 19-14 overall and 4-2 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.Â
Avery Neuhart tossed a three-hit shutout to lead the Mount past the Bobcats in the opening game of the twinbill. The Mount fell in game two, 5-0, despite a pair of hits from
Zoe Wilcox. Maria Godde leads the Mount with a .325 average while
Kaia Bonshock is hitting .282 with a team-high 14 RBI.Â
Tori Bowles leads the Mount with six doubles while
Abigayle Perry has a team-leading .449 on-base percentage.Â
Avery Neuhart has been the top pitcher with a 1.17 ERA and a 6-2 record in 13 appearances and 10 starts.
ABOUT MANHATTAN: Manhattan is 6-25 overall and 2-2 in the MAAC after dropping both ends of a non-conference doubleheader at home to Stony Brook on Thursday. Gabriella Mazzotta leads Manhattan's offense with a .311 average, nine doubles and 14 runs scored. Marika Deemer is hitting .284 with seven doubles and three home runs. Sophia Kiseloski (2-9, 5.18 ERA, 74.1 IP) is Manhattan's top pitcher this year.
THE ALL-TIME SERIES vs. MANHATTAN: Manhattan holds a 7-1 lead in the all-time series with the Mountaineers that dates back to 2004.  The last meeting between the two teams came at the 2017 Mount Invitational. The Jaspers swept a doubleheader with the Mount on Friday, March 24, to start the event, taking game one, 9-4, before rallying from a 9-4 deficit for a 10-9 win in eighth innings in game two. The Mount's lone win over the Jaspers was a 6-5 victory on February 28, 2004.  Mount head coach

ABOUT SAINT PETER'S: Saint Peter's is 19-11 overall and 0-4 in the MAAC after sweeping a doubleheader against Maryland Eastern Shore at home on Wednesday. Jess Forte leads a potent Saint Peter's offense, hitting .408 with five home runs in 29 games. Cara McNulty (.360, 10 2B) and Dakota Pitts (.345, 21 RBI) are also having strong seasons at the plate. Sydney Palmer (6-4, 2.33 ERA, 63.0 IP) and Sydney Senerchia (10-3, 2.37 ERA, 76.2 IP) leads the pitching staff.
THE ALL-TIME SERIES vs. SAINT PETER'S:Â This will be the first-ever meeting between the Mount and Saint Peter's.
FAMILIAR FACE: Manhattan is led by head coach Cat Clifford, a 2014 Mount St. Mary's graduate. Clifford, in her second season as Manhattan's head coach, was a four-year starter at third base for the Mountaineers during her career. She was a Second Team All-Northeast Conference selection in 2013 after hitting .312 with eight home runs and 24 RBI. Clifford is currently seventh all-time at the Mount with 17 career home runs.
HOME SWEET HOME: Mount St. Mary's opens a 12-game homestand with a pair of MAAC doubleheaders this weekend. The Mountaineers improved to 12-2 at home this season with the doubleheader sweep of Cornell on April 4. The two wins give the Mount a 25-6 record at Our Lady of the Meadows Field over the past two seasons, and a 50-21 mark at home since 2019. The Mount's 12 home wins this year are one off the program record of 13 set in 2022 (13-4), 2019 (13-5) and 1988 (13-4).
HOT STREAK: The Mountaineers are 16-4 over their past 20 games to move to five games over .500 on the season at 19-14. The Mount's pitching staff has fueled the success with a 1.62 ERA over that stretch. All five Mount pitchers have recorded at least two starts over that span. The stretch includes a 12-2 mark at home and a 3-1 mark in the MAAC.
NEUHART SHINING IN THE CIRCLE:Â Graduate student
Avery Neuhart has been terrific in the circle this season, going 6-2 with a 1.17 ERA in 13 appearances (10 starts). Neuhart has struck out 39 while walking just nine in 71.2 innings of work. She is currently 16
th in the nation in both ERA (1.17) and walks per seven innings pitched (0.88). Neuhart is 5-1 with a 0.88 ERA over her past seven appearances (six start). She has tossed five complete games and a pair of shutouts over that span, striking out 33 while walking just five in 47.2 total innings.Â
PITCHING STAFF SUCCESS: The Mountaineers feature a deep pitching staff that leads the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference with a 2.19 ERA this season. All five Mountaineer pitchers have made at least three starts this season, and the staff has fueled the Mount's 16-4 stretch with a 1.62 ERA over the past 20 contests. Over that stretch,
Avery Neuhart is 5-1 with a 0.88 ERA (47.2 IP),
Amaya Bowman is 2-0 with a 1.47 ERA (19.0 IP),
Olivia Murphy is 5-1 with a 1.89 ERA (33.0 IP),
Maddie Coleman is 2-2 with a 1.93 ERA (29.0 IP), and
Elizabeth King is 2-0 with a 3.15 ERA (13.1 IP).

Kaia Bonshock continues to move up the Mount's career leaders lists. Bonshock is second all-time at the Mount in doubles (40), sixth in hits (160), sixth in RBI (91), eight in total bases (232) and ninth in at bats (516).Â
Mariah Godde has moved into 10
th on the Mount's all-time games played list with 181.Â
Vanessa Martin is sixth with 34 career steals while
Abigayle Perry is fourth all-time with 66 walks and third with eight triples.
Avery Neuhart is tied for seventh with 89 appearances and is 10
th with a 3.66 career ERA.Â
Olivia Murphy is 13-9 all-time at the Mount, giving her a career winning percentage of 59.1 percent, good for second on the all-time list. Murphy's career ERA of 2.53 in two seasons is fourth all-time.
MOUNT'S ALL-TIME HIT LIST:Â
Kaia Bonshock has moved into sixth on the Mount's all-time hit list with 160 career hits. The graduate student needs six hits to move past Courtney Zingle for a spot in the top five. The school record is 193 set by Amanda Burk (2006-09).
