EMMITSBURG, Md. (February 9, 2023) – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) announced the 2023 Softball Preseason Coaches' Poll. Mount St. Mary's was placed 6
th overall with a point total of 69.
With a conference record of 17-7 and an overall record of 26-22, the Mount finished the 2022 season with their best win percentage since 2006. The Mountaineers will play their first game against the Hawks from Saint Joseph's in the Chanticleer Showdown on February 25
th. Their first home game will take place on March 11
th against the Central Connecticut Blue Devils.

The 2023 MAAC Softball Championship is a six-team double elimination tournament taking place between May 10-14, 2023. The championship will be hosted by the highest seed.
