Penn State Behrend makes the short trek to Grove City seeking their first win. The Lions stand 0-4 with defeats against La Salle, Mercyhurst, Wittenberg and Iona. Shannon Young scored a hat trick with two steals in the team's most recent game against the Gaels. Young tied with Marley Persch for the team's lead in 2022 goals with 47 each.

Gannon was a participant at Mercyhurst's Robinette Invitational, picking up their first victory of the year against Wittenberg to wrap up their stay. The Golden Knights are coming off a 10-14 campaign last season, but have had to find new solutions for scoring after their top two scorers graduated out of the program. Jade Strickland has the most 2022 goals among returners with 37.
