EMMITSBURG, Md. (October 2, 2023) – Mount St. Mary's bowling received a No. 18 national ranking in the preseason poll from the National Tenpin Coaches' Association (NTCA).
 
The Mount earned 442 points in the poll, as voted on by bowling coaches across the country.
 
After going 80-48 and competing as an independent for the 2022-23 season, the Mountaineers rose two spots in the rankings, finishing No. 20 in the last NTCA poll.
 
Mount St. Mary's began the year 2-1 during the NCAA Season Kick-Off against Chestnut Hill. Next on the schedule is the Golden Bear Invitational, hosted by Kutztown.
