The Mount St. Mary's men's and women's tennis teams open the 2022-23 season with a trip to Bucknell for the Bucknell Invitational. 

MOUNT UPDATE:  The Mount St. Mary's men's and women's tennis teams are set to open the season at the Bucknell Invitational.  Last year, the women's team went 4-11 overall and 3-3 in Northeast Conference play before falling to Sacred Heart in the NEC Quarterfinals.  The men's team had a 6-10 overall record and a 2-4 mark in the NEC, falling to Fairleigh Dickinson in the conference tournament quarterfinals. 

THE BUCKNELL INVITATIONAL:  This will be the first time the Mount men's and women's tennis teams have competed in the Bucknell Invitational since September 2018.

THE COMPETITION: Bucknell, Lafayette, Mount St. Mary's and Saint Francis U will comprise the field at this year's Bucknell Invitational.

TOURNAMENT DETAILS: 
Format: Flighted tournament (number of singles and doubles flights based on number of entrants)
Schedule:
Friday (1 p.m. start): 1 round of singles, 1 round of doubles
Saturday (9 a.m. start): 1 round of singles, 2 rounds of doubles
Sunday (9 a.m. start): 1 round of singles

NEW CONFERENCE:  The Mountaineers will compete in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference this season.  The Mount will play each MAAC team once during the regular season with the top four advancing to the MAAC Championships in April.

UP NEXT:  The Mount tennis teams host the Mountaineer Invitational on September 23-25 at the Mount Tennis Courts while the men will also be competing at the Loyola Invitational that weekend.
